Practice Practice begins the Monday after Memorial Day and is broken up by age group. Practice is in the evenings while school is in. Once MCPS school is out, practice will be in the mornings with regular evening practice for those who cannot make the A.M. practices. Donut Mondays after start too! (donuts are for swim team and minnows ONLY!). Please make sure you arrive at practice at least 5 minutes before you are to start. Be prepared! Have your practice suit and your goggles on so you will be ready to dive in! Practice Times: (While MCPS School Is In Session) Ages 10 and under Ages 11 and up Friday -ALL AGES Monday thru Thursday: 6pm to 7pm Monday thru Thursday: 7pm to 8pm Friday: 6:30pm to 7:30pm Practice Times: (After MCPS school is out) 11 and up: 9-10: 8 and under: Evening practice ALL age groups: Minnows MONDAY MORNING PRACTICE START TIME IS 8:00am Tuesday thru Friday 7:45 - 9 am pool time, 9 - 9:30 dry land 9 - 10 am pool time, 10 - 10:30 dry land 10 - 10:45 am pool time (no dry land for 8 and under) Evening practices: Mon. Tues. Thurs. all ages 6:30 – 7:30 pm Mon. Tues. Wed. Fri. 9:30 – 10:15 am First minnows practice is the Fri after MCPS school ends. Last minnows practice is Wed before divisionals. All Star Qualifiers: (Monday - Friday after Divisionals) practice time: 9am-10:30am Parents and family members - Please stay clear of the swim deck while practice is in session. Any concerns or questions for the coaches can wait until after practice.
